Bridal Party Processional

June 3, 2016

Let's gently bend traditions. Let's take the expected and make it a WOW!

Your groomsmen do not have to escort your bridesmaids nor do your girls have to come down the aisle single file.

Besides...it's boring and has been done ad nauseam.

There are so many beautiful ways for your bridal party to make their grand entrance.

Your wedding is the celebrations of male/female and the nature of the loving union of couples.

If your groomsmen are escorting the bridesmaids, each groomsman should offer their strong arm (no chicken arms here) and escort his bridesmaid to her spot, and then will walk over to the groom, shake his and step into his spot.

Consider this...there is an old "Processional" tradition from the "40" that I love and so do my couples who have chosen this Processional!

If you have a large bridal party, say six or more bridesmaids and groomsmen, have them make their recessional in a "group".

all together Let's make a statement. What I mean is, have the girls come in in pairs of twos with each set right behind the other. It is stunningly beautiful to see gorgeous women coming down the aisle in pairs and in unison with their beautiful dresses, flowers and femininity.

The groomsmen will do likewise. It's is powerful and very masculine to see a group of handsome men in tuxedos or suits march in in pairs and as a unit.

Ah...sublime...
