Who ever started the rule that the Bride and Groom couldn't see each other until the Bride walked down the aisle never knew about the "First Look Ceremony".
If there is one thing I would encourage you to do on your wedding day is the "First Look" ceremony.
If you don’t mind bending wedding tradition this time in a big way, you know, the not seeing each other until the music starts... consider taking some private time to see each other for the first time BEFORE the ceremony. It's priceless, intamate, and your photographer will love you for it but more importantly, you will too.
The two of you will have this sweet time together that you will not have for the rest of your wedding day. It becomes a whirl wind of excitment and events and many times couples don't get that intimate moment through the whole wedding experience. You'll also be relaxed during the ceremony and better able to take in the moment.
Of all the things I wish I had done at my wedding is this. The First Look. All alone with my husband to be. Excited, joyfull and ready for the ceremony and to begin our life together as husband and wife.
