Well here she is...my new website.
"Weddings By Cynthia"
I've retired "Cynthia Black Weddings" and now have taken my married name for not just my personal life but my public life as well.
I felt after seven years of marriage and being Mrs. Robert Jorrie in my personal life it was time for a change.
So, I'm now Cynthia Jorrie. This new site is pretty much done with the exception of new headshots I'll be doing of myself. Jessica of "Jessica Odom Photography" will be doing my pictures. Check out her website link here. A sweet lady with a keen eye for photography.
Cancer treatment in 2015 dramatically changed my appearance which I have embraced. I love my white hair. It's my new normal. I can't wait to post my new photos so I'm up to date on my new "look".
I remain in complete remission.
All the articles that are most important to couples planning to marry are here with the other articles from the old site slowing being migrated over.
Building this website was kind of like having a baby.
You are excited yet concerned.
What will she look like? Feel like? Will I bond with her and she me?
My site was started with those very same emotions. What will she look like? I had no idea. What will she feel like? More importantly, how did I want to make her feel like? Will she bond to me and I her? I had to get started.
And here she is.
It took some time...sitting in my office in the dark working into the wee hours of the morning, creating, crafting...listening to Andrea Bocelli "Perfidia" with my earbuds so not to wake Bobby.
Weddings...marriage... are all about new beginnings.
So is this site.
Thank you Andrea...the affair was lovely while it lasted. You helped me make her look beautiful. You helped me make her share what love feels like on the pages of this site.
And now, I love this site and the pain of the demise of the old site is...well...it's pretty much...gone because I'm now bonded to this new site and hopefully, you my wonderful couples, will love it too.
